Lionhead Studios and Microsoft Game Studios announced the pricing for Fable III today. They also confirmed that they will be producing a Limited Collector’s Edition of the game, as well as a Windows version. When Fable III releases this holiday season, the Xbox 360 Standard Edition will be available at a suggested retail price of $59.99 USD, while the Windows version, available in store or for download exclusively via Games on Demand on Games for Windows – Live, will retail for $49.99 USD.
The Limited Collector’s Edition is set to retail for $79.99 USD, and will come with unique collectibles that Lionhead says “true Fable fans won’t want to miss”. That includes downloadable content (which will also be made available to players of the Windows version), extra in-box items and more.
Included in the Limited Collector’s Edition are:
An additional quest to uncover the mystery of the haunted forests of Silverpines, an exclusive location, Fable III playing cards – including Heroes, royals, rebels and villains – a Guild Seal Coin featuring Good and Evil sides, a new dog breed and one unique outfit.
