I really adored Fable 2. The combat was very satisfying, it had some nice comedy bits, and it was just an all around pleasurable experience. In fact, just writing about it is making me want to go back and play through it again. Before I do that though, let me tell you about the third installment which I was lucky enough to play at X’10. From what I watched and played of Fable 3, it seems to offer all of the same awesomeness that its predecessor did. The opening cinematic involving a most unfortunate chicken tickled me, and the controls felt really comfortable.

Now, I will say that I was a bit irked by the blurriness in the game. I hope it was just the television we were playing the game on, because it would be a shame if the game was actually that fuzzy. Also, the in-game facial mechanics weren’t all that good. That’s an issue that I am sure, and trust, they will fix before it releases. Other than that, Fable 3 seems fantastic and I can’t wait for it to launch!
